“Il risultato finale è una traccia immediata e travolgente”
“The final result is an immediate and overwhelming track.” (translated)
Italian music magazine DISTOPIC.IT reviewed “I'm Feeling Good”, praising its hypnotic, stripped-back hook, the drive of the kick and the strength of its melodic hooks, and calling it a potential hit.
imTP is an independent electronic music producer and DJ from Tampa, Florida, blending powerful bass, melodic elements and unexpected sounds, all made with zero AI. He started making music in 2007, lost it all to a lightning strike, and came back in May 2025 to finish what he started.
Every artist has a beginning. For imTP, that beginning dates back to 2007.
What started as a passion for electronic music and experimenting with music production came to an abrupt halt when a lightning strike destroyed his computer, taking his early creative work with it.
For nearly two decades, the music remained an unfinished chapter.
In May 2025, imTP returned to music production, determined to pick up where he left off. Armed with FL Studio, a renewed creative drive and years of musical inspiration, he began turning ideas into original productions.
Based in Tampa, Florida, imTP creates electronic music that blends powerful bass, melodic elements and unexpected sounds. His creative approach is rooted in experimentation, refusing to be confined to a single genre or formula.
Early on, imTP experimented with AI in his music, until mentor Nyarko helped him see it would never make him a better producer. He dropped it completely. Today every imTP track is made with zero AI: real ideas and real sound design, built by hand in FL Studio.
What began as a hobby interrupted by lightning has evolved into something much bigger: a second chance to pursue a passion that never truly disappeared.
One of his biggest personal goals: to stand in a festival crowd and hear one of his own tracks come through the speakers.
Nearly 18 years later, the music finally found its way back. This is imTP. And he's just getting started.
