“I’m Feeling Good” is imTP’s first collaboration with a vocalist. Junior Paes wrote and sang the topline over a melodic dubstep production built in FL Studio.
Behind the track
It started with a search for vocals. imTP was digging through Looperman for a vocal he could build something around when he came across one from Junior Paes. He liked the melody and the sound so much that he built the entire song around it.
With a working version in hand, imTP found Junior Paes on Instagram and sent him what he’d made. Junior loved it, especially how the instrumental was built underneath his vocal to fit its vibe. The vocal came from an older pack, so Junior put it up on his store, and imTP picked up the commercial license to release it properly.
“I listened to your track and I really liked what I heard.”
— Junior Paes
It was imTP’s first song with real vocal stems, and learning how to produce vocals was an awesome experience. His mentors helped out tremendously along the way.
Then came the work: reworking the track over and over, building a 30-day release plan, and using the release to introduce Toiletticus Paperson and the lore of imTP to the world.
The song came out on October 14, 2026, Junior Paes’s birthday. Both artists are really happy with how it turned out.
It’s also the first transmission since the House of Paperson reopened its doors.
